there is obviously something wrong with my charging system, first I thought I had a bad battery, so now have brand new battery, several cranks later it still is not charging
what do/can I check?
If the wiring is all intact, you have either an alternator problem, or a faulty rectifier. Whip out the Factory service manual and troubleshoot the charging system.
