nissan NS15b2 c.d. unit

Could a bad c.d. unit cause my 1992 nissan 2 stroke 15hp to not have power in gear? Other then no power in gear the motor is in nice shape its a one pull start.

Sure...So whip out that service manual and run the ignition system checks to determine if that is the problem.

installed new CDI and now the engine gives full power, 15hp in 8' avon inflatable good fun
