I have done some research on the forum but unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the solution I am looking for. I have a Nissan NS8B for several years now and never had any problem at all. A wonderful equipment. Last week, we left on a boat ride and everything was perfect at the beginning of the trip. We then stopped the Nissan motor to use our electric one for fishing.
When we tried using it back, I had to use the choke more than usual and as soon as I was giving less gas, the motor wouldn't remain on the idle and would shut down every single time. We had to come back from our run (about a mile). If we give put it at 30 % or more on the neutral position no problem, but as soon as we want to put it on idle to move forward, it stops.
I checked the gas filter, seems fin. Power plugs, carb, ..everything seems fine.
Would you have any idea where it might come from?
