Hi All,

My first post here, I have found quite a bit of great info here looking through the forums, but not much on my car.

I have an 08 Nissan Rogue SL, FWD with a 1500lb towing limit. I am looking at the Alumacraft Fisherman 145CS, or a very similar package. I would guess in the 1200-1250 lb range boat, motor, trailer. Most trips will be under 50 miles, which is not my concern, my concern is the boat ramp itself, I would hate to have to pull my Rogue out of the Henderson Swamp.

I am looking for feedback from Rogue owners on how the Rogue handles dragging the boat out of the water on different types of ramps...concrete, gravel etc.

Thanks!!

Re: Nissan Rogue Owners

Though I have zero experience with your specific vehicle; FWD vehicles generally perform well on a ramp. The working tires are up on dry ground with good traction.

Re: Nissan Rogue Owners

The wife just bought one and I have a 96 Nissan PU. I don't think any 2wd is going to do well on steep gravel. A tilt trailer may help you some.

Please do update the tread with any actual experiences.
