Nissan vs Mercury 25 hp

Am thinking of replacing my 2002 Mercury 25 2 stroke on my 20' pontoon boat with a 4 stroke with power trim. Can buy a 2004 Nissan long shaft with control box & cables for $2995 or a 2004 Mercury Big Foot for $3355 with control box & cable. My current control box does not have power trim switch. For the extra $400 is the Bigfoot gearbox worth the money ? Thanks

On a 'toon, a bigfoot is desirable. Big props give better bite at 'toon speeds.<br /><br />Worth an extra $400? Just an opinion, but I don't think so.<br /><br />Good luck.
