NMEA 0183 output from Lowerance Elite 5 to input of MercMonitor

I need to interface my Elite 5 DSI NMEA 0183 output to the input to my MercMonitor. I finally got the NMEA cable needed for the Elite 5 and it has a yellow, black and red wire. The MercMonitor NMEA 0183 cable has two wires - white/blue and brown/tan (or something like brown/tan). How do I wire these two cables together, i.e. what color goes where?
