Hi Guys!
I do not have 12 volt at my choke on my 2000 5.0 M/C 0m012817.... Where would I start to trace?

Thanks!

The way I see the wiring is that the purple/yellow is hot during cranking and when the motor has oil pressure.

I would think that the only time you would have +12 volts on the choke is with the key "Run" on or "Start" positions AND the oil pressure switch when the pressure was there. .. That was if the key switch is turned off or the oil pressure dropped out, the choke would lose that +12 volts... JMHO!

The electronic choke kit I installed this year takes power from the keyed power side of the coil.

That's right, it needs the power so the temp sensor works to open the choke plate as the motor warms up to operating temp.
