New Here but not new to boating. I have a 86' Chris Craft 196 LTD since new, so it's 23 years old. I have been thinking of a new boat and started to look around and looks like a there are a lot to choose from. The family and I , wife, 2 kids (7&5) and 2 dogs(border collie & lab) Boat, Ski, Wake board & Fish. In Idaho lakes we 97% of the time just beach the boat for ease with the kids and dogs.

Now I have been looking at the Four Winns H203 Fish & Ski boat and think this a new version of what I have.

What other boats are out there that might work for what My Family uses are best suited for?

And how much should I Offer the dealer on the 08' new H203?? If that is what I decide on.

Thanks in the future for the help.

Robert.

Welcome to iboats
Can't help you with the boat but as soon as I read Border Collie I had to respond. Ours has been tubing since he was a pup and as soon as the cover comes off our boat in the driveway he is in the truck waiting to go. Swims all day when he get's the chance and when not at the lake he takes himself into the pool to cool off. 9 years old and still like a pup. Our last Border Collie was seventeen and a half years old when we had to put him down. He was really active till he was 16.

just finished my youngest daughter in college, did great, at 50k a year, Next month the older one is getting married, NOW WHAT BOAT ARE U LOOKING AT WITH THOSE TWO YOUNG KIDS. I'm retired and wish I wasn't.

you didn't put any location in your profile, it reread your post, idaho, so your in fresh water, , kept it covered, maintained, , but do you boat in fresh or salt, strictly fresh, and maintain your boat, it could still be very nice, my 85 is mint, i bought it from Michigan, a similar one in NYC is a piece of s***.
This year I upgraded the refrigerator, new mooring cover, shore power ,led lighting and microwave in a 23 aft cabin.

look at the Bayliner 205 fish n ski. it has the pedistal fishing seat, that have there own storage place in the boat, 5 minutes to convert from fishing to ski boat. either boat, 4.3 efi is minimum power.

on the four winns, if you can get the Volvo package, go with it.
