I have a 1986 Riveria Crusier pontoon boat that has the orginal steering system that is in bad shape. I think(?) it's called the rack & pinion system? Anyway I've been told a no feed back system is the way to go. As I am not versed in this area I would like to know how to go about finding the right one for my boat. The old steering cable that is on it now says it is a 14 ft cable. Is this the size I need to go back with or is there a difference in how you measure for a no feed back system? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Should be the same length. You will like the no-feedback system.

Thanks for the reply Silvertip. I've been told it's the way to go these days. I'm going to order it tomorrow. I appreciate the information.
