I have a 1980 150hp Evinrude sport. I had it running great on all cylinders and getting great fire. Now I let it sit about a month and am not getting any fire...Anyone know where to start??
By no fire do you mean it wont start or you dont have any spark on any of the cylinders?
If it wont start, check out the faq for a thread by JB entitled "Outboard Wont Start" and let us know what you find.
If there is no spark, on any of the 6 cylinders, start by disconnecting the black/yellow kill wire at the power pack and retest. If there is now spark, there is a short in the kill circuit.
