I finally got my boat towed out of the slip today and i got the CMC and 1980 90HP Merc on today... pumped the bulb, it got hard and some fuel came out the front of the 2nd carb (middle).

But it wouldnt start. I changed the plugs after a few cranks, then cranked it 30 more times, and pulled the plugs, they look like fuel never touched them.

I know this is most likely the carbs, as they probably need to be rebuilt anyway, whats the easiest way to get the carbs off? I HAVE to take off the starter, right?

Any other problems that could cause this?

Dude, i noticed you have to stick your two cents in on almost every one of my posts that have really nothing to add that is helpful, mostly wiseass answers.

If you dont have something nice or intelligent to say, stay the hell out of the thread.
