No Heat

I have a 2007 Crownline 220 with a 5.0 L EFI Mercruiser. It will not go beyond 120 degrees. I think it's the thermostat. Anyone have any other ideas of have had such a problem?

Why do you think it's the thermstat? Did it test bad?
Have you checked the engine with and IR Temp gun to see if it's actually running that cold? Could be just a gauge problem.

I did not think of the gauge or sender but from stone cold it starts to heat up and then goes back to around 120 and stays there. It was working fine in the morning after I ran through some murky water from some oyster boats and then this happened. The engine has less than 60 hours on it. Thanks for the direction!
