I have owned an '89 Boston Whaler since April '06. Thanks to the good folks at IBoats, I've been able to correct/repair my engine and boat maintenance issues.
Now, I'm trying to get my navigation and anchor lights to work. When I got the boat the stern anchor light was working, but the red/green bow light was not. First I replaced that bulb in the bow with no luck. Then trying to use a multimeter, I apparently screwed up the anchor light. Don't know what I did, but I was getting a reading and accidentally touched the probes on the meter together while in contact with the connection and now I've got no juice. Because the switch was difficult to operate I replaced that with the correct part. Still nothing. I am an electrical idiot. Anybody out there with advice on how to troubeshoot this?

Re: No lights

There is one fuse. It looks good, but I will replace it.
Thanks

You should have a fuse panel up under the helm. Not real familiar with the Whalers, but most boats will have more than one fuse. Maybe JB or OB can shoot you in the right direction. Where was the one fuse you found?

Re: No lights

My boat is a simple 13' SuperSport. Fuse box is located starboard side, aft. Every wire on the boat (of which there are not many) seems to run through it. The only control on the helm is the light switch. The only other electrical circuit is for the starter.
