I was out last night with my family and in-laws - saw one PWC and 2 sailboats without lights after dark. The couple on the PWC (clearly adults - I saw them earlier) were sitting still (wearing dark clothing and jackets) obviously watching me to see if I saw them. The 2 sailboats were heading home from a race and were atleast out of the main channel and near coves. I have good eyes and spotted them early enough, but my wife and in-laws couldn't see them until they were within 100 yards. There were probably 12-15 other boats within eyesight at the time. What are these people thinking? Kinda ticks me off - risking my and my family's life along with theirs.

Very stupid and inconsiderate of them.... Not to mention in NC it is against regulations for a pwc to be out after dark (period weither youv'e put lifghts on it or not). It should "tick you off".... I still am amazed at others people's stupidity sometimes.

Yeah, I was thinking about those 3 kids on Wylie that got run over. Killed 2, I think. Atleast the PWC stopped and watched to see what I was going to do so they could react if needed. That was respectful. But they still shouldn't be out there.
