i dont see 5 hp 2-stroke Yamahe on official yamaha site. its true that dont more built that kind of engine.?

Small 2-strokes days are numbered. They're too small to make them direct injected, at least with current technology. 4-strokes are the way of the future with small outboards. The majority of the world market demands motors with acceptable emissions and fuel economy. Conventional 2-strokes are terribly inefficient and environmentally dirty, and when fuel costs as much as it does and will, poor efficiency simply will not sell when there are alternatives available.

Narog, it's a temporary thing, the main thing people want and need in a small outboard is for it to be light and transportable and 4-strokes are a poor choice for that....you will see in about two years injected two strokes below 8 hp.

i think that i dont need to have 5 hp 4-stroke because is heavy and i must transport engine with care on oil level.

maybe for 4-5 years .
