NO Netraul GEAR

I have a 1989 suzuki 115hp the netrual is not working foward and reverse are fine what could be the problem and how do I fix it

well its gotta be out of adjustment someplace. the clutch slides all the way fwd for fwd and aft for reverse and nutral is in the middle. what gear is it in when the selector on the engine is in netrual and when did this problem start ?

yes it was out of adjustment had to adjust one of the cables
