Yammies far as the eye could see. That 300hp is one big badaxx-looking motor! Gotta get me one a those! plenty of mercs, too. Didn't see a single boat priced over $279,000!<br /><br />What kind of world will our grandchildren grow up in, without any Johnsons or Evinrudes? :( <br /><br />"It's just an old plywood boat<br />With a 75 johnson<br />And electric choke"<br />--Alan Jackson, Drive

A lot of dealers went away due to the bankruptcy and haven't returned. It's going to take time to build up the dealer base again. But they're in good hands. I expect your grandchildren will still be able to buy one when they're grandparents. I wonder what they'll be like. :)

There were a lot of Bombardier Evinrudes at the Nashville Boat Show.<br /><br />OMC is no longer in business, Johnson and Evinrude are owned by Bombardier now.

Don't worry texas, Johnson and Evinrude will be around fro a long time to come. They are now owned by Bombardier Recreation Products, they are also STILL proudly built in America (Wisconson). With the introduction of their new Evinrudes (the E-Tec) I believe you will see them gaining much ground that was lost due to OMC's problems. If you think the Yamaha's are bad axx wait until the see the High Output E-Tecs!!!

The King (OMC) is dead. Long live the King (Bombardier).
