Today i was running my nose cone with the water intake in some sand and small small stones at the bottom of the lake.
After that i checked if the engine still pee, but no, just a little weak beam of water droling out from the pee hole.
Got the engine out of water, took the lower unit down and checked and it was a lot of small small stones in there at the impeller house.
So cleaned it away could see some very very small scratches inside the impeller house not deep, could not feel them just see them (alot of them)
Well got all back togheter again but still just a week pee.
The engine runs att normal temp as long as i travel about 1500 rpm, but if we run it at about 4000 - 5000 the temp will raise to high.
Could it be thoose very small scratches or should we use some air compress to see if it can be something higher up in the engine?
It pees normal out of the lower unit.
Can also say that i got a nose cone that pics up the water so its easy to hook a hose on the engine with presseur. so we did but it still just pee.
Im not sure but i think i did have a strong beam when i use to hook up on hose even without the engine running.

Daniel....try blowing back thru the pee hole with some compressed air. Sometimes will do the trip if something is lodged in there. Failing that, remove the plastic elbow at the engine the hose is connected to and crank up the engine. Let it blow real good. This helps more often than not.

Keep us posted.....thanks.

Thanks OBJ.

So it should be possible to blow back from where the pee hole is located?
We did try both ways when we had the lower unit of (blowing with mouth...outch that sounds not right :) well you know what i mean)
Well when we did blow from bottom we could feel that little air traveld all the way to the pee hole.
But when i tried from the pee hole way, it was totaly stop, so i thought it maybe had some vent or something that only makes it go one way.
But not thats not right then?

Thanks all!

Just wanna say its fixed.
Tried to blow through the pee hole with compressed air, nothing happend. did release the hose from the the pee hole to the engine, it was like concrete in there, no way the water could run thru.
Did also release the thermostats and found alot of sand stuck there to.
Clean there and now it pee and cool like never before.

Its nice with a nose cone, but also very easy to suck things up...

Once again THANKS ALL, this forum is GREAT.
