no power at wot

1988 175 evinrude....runs great at idle..... at wot motor needs more fuel...i can push the choke and feel the fuel working... carbs are clean....any ideas?

Have you tried squeezing the bulb at WOT, maybe a weak fuel pump.
Lines might be blocked, has it got a fuel filter as well?

yes, tried the bulb ....yes, to fuel filter, carbs adjusted.......almost feels like a vacum problem....going to try starting fluid test tomorrow around gaskets

Maybe a vacuum leak but typically it doesn't just happen when you open it up, it would run like a dog at idle. Idle would be lower if vacuum were an issue.Have had the carbs out and put a kit in them?

You said carbs are clean. Carbs are clean when they are cleaned and a new kit put in.

i'm gonna clean the carbs. I am also going to check for air in the line, If there was air in the line, would't all speeds be effected?
