83 25hp johnson j25elctd, had controller apart to change throttle,back together now key won't turn engine of?? so,black wire with yellow tracer is kill,right? what to do with it i don't have the foggiest idea,clean tighten test ,short out?? totally dark on this one! any ideas? all help appriciated!
393301 key asy./582452 power pack black w/yellow tracer wire with good continuity,tried shorting on both ends stays running either way,what gives ? controller also has an emergency device to hook to your person to be pulled if needed to kill motor,well while running ,in driveway, pulled it and motor still runs? switch or power pack ?? thsnks again
