no spark 71 horse evenrude

seems like alot of issues with this . anyone have any ideas, also what size is the nut on the flywheel. I will need to go buy a socket to fit it.
any ideas on problem would be highly appreciated. thankyou

We need to know which evinrude in particular you are referring to??? 1971, but what hp?

60 horse sorry forgot to mention, I just ordered a new amplifier, guy told me 90% of the time that is the problem, hope he's right, if not back to the drawing board.
