No spark for a RUDE outboard!!!!

My 1976 Evinrude 135 hp outboard has no spark at plugs! People here helped me thru my first water pump replacement(Thanks Luna Sea and Gator).I hope someone out there may help with this. I work on car engines but not outboards. The motor cranks over with lots of power but no spark!! Howdy 'Ruder.<br /><br />When you lose ALL spark, the most common causes are the kill switch, (the lanyard has pulled out) the Neutral Start safety switch or the ignition switch.<br /><br />Check those out first. If you don't see any problem there, disconnect the kill and Neutral Start switches and check spark again. Be careful here that you don't actually start the engine.<br /><br />Let us know what you find.
