No Spark on 93 Johnson Tracker - Help

Hi all,
I was given some suggestions on my last post and am now in need of some more help. My 93 Johnson 40HP will not start and I have no spark. I disconnected the large red plug in the engine and jumped the starter from the battery, still no spark! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Lee.

there are 6 or 7 pages here in this link, find your engine and do the test, should point you in the right direction.
