No spark on gamefisher

I just read a previous post (85 15hp Gamefisher No Spark???) about the same trouble I am having. The difference is my 15hp gamefisher was made in 1975. Just wondering if the info in the other post applies to mine as well. Once again, thanks for the help!!! Dan
