HELLO to all.
i have this 12.9 hp 1972 that i traded with an old fart, he ran away with my 1982 7.6 hp sea king which is running good and i bet hes enjoying fishing with it. he had me believe his was 1984 , came to find out later the model is 122hb which is 1972. that smart *** DOM.
anyway, i tried to start this one and i got no spark at all, i had to take the flywheel out , found the points corroded so i clean them out and so the coil to flywheel contacts, put new set of plugs and put back together.
i started it with no luck, has gas going in, but no spark coming out. what could be the problem and what cause the motor to be on this state.
all parts seem to be still new, barely worn out. hmmmmm!!
