No Spark with 1989 Mercury Classic 50

My 1989 Mercury Classic 50 outboard has an intermittent problem with spark. I brought it to my local repair marina and they could not duplicate the problem. They put it on their own control system and, at first, it wouldn't start. He then buttoned everything back up, and it worked. He replaced the stator, as some of the wires were burned and he indicated that there was not charging voltage. So that problem is fixed, and supposedly, it fires right up. That was fine the next 2 times I took it out, then.... same problem. No spark. It just cranks, and cranks. I have checked all of the connections, and cleaned the plugs. PLENTY of fuel is pumping during crank. Choke on or off, still just cranks with no spark.

Any suggestions?

I would disconnect the black yellow wire at the switchbox to see if I had a problem in the wiring or switch, In as much as he has already changed the stator, the only thing left that effects all cyls is the switchbox

So, understanding removal of the black/yellow wire, what am I looking for when I crank the engine?
Thank you in advance?
