I have a nova 250 twin 350 They both ran went I put it away a couple of years ago just pulled the boat out and both motors have no spark checked power at the coil checked points gap I'm wanting to know how to check the coil and points to see if they are good

If they set for a few years.The points probably need to be replaced.
If you have power to the coil and both sides of the coil,then to the points but not thru the points.They are bad.Jerry

Sand paper the points. Check the gap. You have good connections?

I would pull every connection clean and sandpaper them. The grounds also.
