No spark

I have a 71 Merc 7.5 hp outboard with the kierkhoff ignition. No spark condition.Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Check the points out. Set them at .020.
Make sure part no 16 is not cracked causing a short.

watch out for cracked insulators on the points...
if the points don't cure it try unhooking your kill wires....then look at testing your coils.
