I hope someone can help me I have a 1987 four winns 245 vista at full throttle I'm at 3500 rpm and I'm going about 10 mph the prop is the right size. It is a solid prop no rubber bushing. Why am I going so slow.

is there any strange noises when full throttle? I once had an old prop spin out, it had a pressed in rubber bushing that let go, it would turn and I could go slow but on acceleration the engine would race with no speed. you say your prop has no rubber bushing? I didn't know you could get one like that.

What engine do you have? WOT should be about 4200-4600 in that age range if it is a GM block. Always verify your tach with a shop tach. I would put money on a spun hub. Mark a line across your hub and prop nut, run it in the water, and take a look at the alignment. If the line doesn't line up any more, your hub needs replacing.
