Evening everybody, i need some help figuring out a no start issue that has been afflicting me for some time. 1993 Sea Ray 454 bravo 1 won't crank or start with key switch. Gauges activate when moving the key to the start position but it will not turn over. I checked voltage and is above 12.9, i keep a maintainer on both batteries. I jumped the starter with a button start and it cranks. It will start as long as the key is to the run position. Key will turn the engine off but not on. I also jumped the key switch wires and only get the gauges to move and still no crank or start. Wires where inspected and look fine. Any ideas where to focus on would be appreciated.

have you checked the neutral safety switch? followed the yellow/red wire from the key switch all the way back to the starter?

Yes, i have followed the wire and it seems nice and solid. I have not checked the neutral safety switch. How can i test it? Boat used to start fine and one day ...no more.

Check for voltage while cranking on the yellow/red wire at the slave solenoid
