no tell tale

I have a 76 55 seahorse and this motor aparantly dosent have a tell tale. I want to put one in but dont know easiet place/best place to drill and tap so i can put a fitting with hose on it. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Usually the hose fitting goes as high on the block as possiable.
Run a search, this subject has been talked about before.
