No throttle, idol only

I just bought a 1984 mercury 7.5 it runs but it will not throttle it will idol and I can move it back to shift which pretty much kills it but I can’t give any throttle for acceleration Throttle cables are fine any ideas

Check the linkage from the cable to the carb, and also does the cable move when the throttle is moved?

I’ve checked that as well
theres a connecting arm that that leads off to the to the left that hits the bracket where the throttle cables come in from the handle.
It’s like the whole throttle roller has to get rotated back

It looks like the throttle roller was installed incorrectly
Little arm that is circled with red is more towards the front of the motor

The pics blurry but you ar probably correct. Could be another will come along more familiar with the motor
