I have a 1985 90 hp merc.I hava a little problem starting it.Once I start it and put it into gear it stalls. After a few times it goes into gear and we go but will only power upto 3800 rpm's at full throttle.Runs great but no faster.Replaced fuel hoses, primer bulb, fuel filter is clean. replaced hose from pump to carb.Noticed that after I'm done and tilt motor up fuel comes out of carb.

I would pull your carbs off, tear them down, soak them in cleaner overnight, and blow them out with compressed air. Get yourself some new gaskets, and reinstall. If your leaking fuel from the carb you might have a torn gasket. Replaceing the fuel lines is a good start, but check your fuel tank, if it is dirty flush it out or your carbs will get nasty again. Also if you don't have one already, invest in a water seperator. This is where I would start. Other things to check are spark compression.

Heen, First check the compression on all six. Then test the spark on all six. If you have good results (I'm betting not), thne clean carbs as recommended.

Check spark plugs for water intrusion. If plugs are real clean, suspect water...
