Hi all, I have a 1998 Bayliner Capri 1750 w/ Mercruiser 3.0. The slave solenoid was going bad last weekend so I jumped it with pliers a few times to get us around the lake and then bought a new one on Monday. I tried putting it on last night but couldn't get to the nuts behind the solenoid so I gave up. This evening, I went back and took off the bracket the solenoid was mounted to so I could hold the nuts with a wrench. After putting everything back together, it won't start and none of the elecrical components work. The stereo and blower motor are wired to come on even without the key but they still have no power now. I tested the hot lead going to the slave solenoid and do not have power. I used the flame arrestor clamp as the ground since I know it is grounded (verified with meter). The battery is showing 13 volts and all fuses are good. Any idea what this could be?
Thanks!
