Noisy exhaust

1973 Luhrs 35 with twin Chrysler 440's. The exhaust is extremely load. Difficult to talk if standing over the engine area in cockpit. Any idea's on mufflers that would quieten these engines down. Currently has basic rubber mufflers installed. Thanks

Depending on your set-up, there are Many Options....<br />The Simplest is a piece that bolts onto the transom,+ directs the exhaust flow down to just short of the bottom of the transom.....<br />That way, at Idle it's Quite....<br />On Plane, it'll breathe nicely.......<br />Of course, you can always add In-line mufflers, somewhere in the bilge.......
