Noisy Tilt Trim Mercruiser

Greetings all,<br /><br />When I raise and lower the outdrive, it make a lots of squeaks and groans. It moves okay and trims okay.<br />I greased the 3 external zerks fittings. 4 or 5 pumps on each.<br />It is a '86 mercruiser Alpha 1<br />The greasing did help some but did not eliminate entirely. try lubing the ram mount rubbers also.<br />sounds like your helmet pins though. keep giving it grease thru the pin zercs.
