I am painting my boat with Brightside and I added nonskid to the deck paint but its not aggressive enough the stuff I used was from Interlux and its a fine type of powder. Can anyone tell me of anything a little heavier I can use by mixing it in?

Thanks Bill :D

Rustoleum makes great stuff you can find at homedepot for about $5. I mixed it with my epoxy topside paint and painted the floor and it is great.

Re: Nonskid

Take a look at "softsand". It's a rubber based non skid additive that comes in #60 (fine) and #30 (coarse). They sent me their standard samples of different colors and grits so I could feel them before i bought them. I've got to non skid my deck (after replacing stringers....arrrgh!) but it looks like I'll use #60 with Interlux's Interthane plus.

I use coarse beach sand or that sparkling white mansonary sand. Fine sand just doesn't hack it.
