Can a person add a manual primer which would squirt gas into the top two carbs to help with cold start-up? Would the squeeze bulb push gas through it or could it handle the pressure if I were to connect it prior to the fuel pump? I supose I am making my own enrichment circut as my outboard just has the choke flaps.

you can get a injection system off of another motor, I think you may have to switch the carbs also. I had one with butterflies..it worked fine, you just have to make sure both butterflies are in sync and close completely, about 3 or 4 secs of turning over and mine would fire right up.

Yes, know you can do that but that cost alot more $$$$$$ and added headaches. I would like to know if my idea would work, because I can use a squirt bottle and shoot alittle in two carbs and it does help dromatically when starting a cold motor.

well you can use the squirt bottle..but I am not aware of any way to rig an injection system safely. find a bone yard..should be able to do the conversion for about $150 or so..maybe less. if there is a way to use your current carbs..like maybe drill and tap it yourself, you could probably get a injection pump and hoses off a old motor for under $50. maybe 25 or so.
