Normal operating water temp

Could someone please tell me what the normal engine operating temperature is. I have a 1991 Mercruiser 5.7 liter 350. Alpha I drive. Thank You.

depends if its raw water cooled or fresh water cooled<br />raw: 160/165.<br />fresh: 170/180
