Yup all over the news tonight.

I personally don't think its in our best interest at all. Its no secret our attention is on the Middle East and not on Korea...........and I think they are a legit threat.

Not confirmed as nuclear by US officials yet,but appparently not firecrackers unless they just developed one that would register a 4.2 Richter reading.

I suppose we'll find out soon where we stand with the UN and particularly China.I can't help but suspect that this act runs deeper than it appears unless somehwere within his physical stature,Kim Jong II has the gonads of ten thousand bull elephants or the brain of a gnat.

No balls, no gnats... what you have here is a megalomanic, in the classic sense. Much more than the politicians we have in this country.

He thinks he is divined by whatever god he believes in and is destined to rule the world.... he is GOD, and so can do no wrong... a very dangerous situation.... and it won’t get better by talks, or “the right attitude”

Re: North Korea performs underground nuclear test

C'mon Haut.Surely you can delve deeper than that.Bush is on his way out. Will he be the forefront of your political fault finding for the next four plus years? This ain't a US verses NK issue. He$$ ,China is supposedly opposed. What weight would you place on them on a global scale as far as policing goes.I mean ,this is a nuclear issue. What would you have us do as a nation? What would you have had us do as a nation to prevent this action? This is a big world and most of it's inhabitants don't see eye to eye with our best interests.Would you blame that on just one man as well?We don't live like we do in America because a genie granted us a wish.People had to die to prevent their adversaries from taking what they posessed.I have a new concept that you may or may not find logical. Why not try placing the brunt of your accusations toward NK and its supporters.Whoever that is. Get a clue.

"Didn't Slick Willey let them have a nuclear reactor? "

And we can always count on someone on here to blame whatever the problem of the day is on Clinton, who hasn't been in office for almost six years...EricKems, do you see the irony of your last two posts?

I don't think there was much anyone could have done in any administration to prevent this. It has seemed inevitable for a while now. The real question in my mind is this: Will having successfully tested a nuclear weapon make NK more relaxed or more aggressive? Obviously, since we can't put the genie back in the bottle, we should be hoping that this makes Mr. Rone-ry over there feel a little more at ease and less nervous about a US invasion, which he keeps going on about.

I somehow doubt that he really has designs on ruling the whole world. My guess, for what its worth, is that he really has been nervous about a US invasion. Now that he has a successful nuke test under his belt, and that crazy look in his eyes, he's in a much better position leverage-wise, to not be invaded by us or anyone else.

I don't care if it was 6 years ago, he let them bulid it. North Korea is one of the poorest nations on earth, it wasn't and shouldn't have been inevitable. Thank you Bill. So because he's nervous, it's OK that he has this? You like it that he thinks he has leverage? Well he does have leverage now. Thank you Bill.
And you want him to feel at ease, SOmething really wrong going on there rat.

LOL... blame FDR, Eisenhower, JFK, Don't you get it?... it's not a blame game.

It's a today flame game, nuclear style.

Now, put the politics aside, or RIP your case.
