Another storm rolls through... power out, trees down and more sleepless nights at work. I thought all the trees had blown down already! Last night in Saanichton we had gusts of 60 mph. This is right on the heels of 3 other similar storms but this one was colder with a -15 wind chill. Previous to this last stretch of crappy weather we had heavy rain for 2 months so the water table is quite high. Then the wind comes along and the trees don't stand a chance. They just tip over... roots and all! Enough already!
