Hello, I am trying to find a prop for my Grandpas pontoon. It's a 94-96 or some year around there Northwoods (rebadged smokercraft according to a few years old thread on here pontoon with a 40 HP northwoods outboard (rebadged Force according to the same thread). Anyways the prop that is on there is completely blank no markings anywhere on it so I have no idea what I am looking for as they only did this Northwoods re badge for only a few years I believe and I am having a hard time finding anything with the Northwoods branding and not sure that if it's a re badged force would using force work.. So hopefully someone can can point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Also it's a thru hub prop so 95 or newer for force at least. So I guess my main question is, is force going to be interchangeable with Northwoods?

Take the prop off and Really look it over for that info. I have never heard of a Northwoods Outboard. I assume it was a Store Brand. Pictures can say a thousand works

Found this. Interesting. You can get props for your engine from 7-15P. For a pontoon, you probably want no more than 10p as a wag.

Force outboards were originally Chrysler. In 1984, Chrysler sold their marine division to U.S. Marine, who marketed the outboards under the name Force. 2 years later, U.S. Marine was bought by Brunswick corp., and Force became part of the Mercury Marine lineup. Force outboards were discontinued by Mercury in 1999.
