I went to the upper end of the lake today. The old riverbed is real winding, about a hundred-yards wide and ten feet deep. They backed lake up two more feet, that made lake about a mile wide .They put red and green bouys at old river banks.I could see this big in-board coming up two or three hundred yards on the wrong side of the red bouy.I started waving and got his attention. There was four couples. They came over to see what I wanted.I said;Do you all not know what those red-green bouys are? They said; What bouys?I explained what they were! Also about stumps two feet under water.Oh,I almost forgot.I caught six smallmouths eight-twelve inches, one twenty inches and one twentyfour inches. The biggest one swallowed the White Bandit .I liked to not got it out,but it didnt bleed

There are a lot of flowages up here where I've seen lots of people hit stumps and such. Difference is that none of it is marked, just like most of the lakes in northern wisconsin. It simply amazes me that people dont have the common sense to be careful. I at least try to become familiar with areas like that before i boat in them.

Not all idiots drive seadoos ... but a goodly percentage of seadoos are driven by idiots! ;)
