04 Yam F225 Charges 14.0 Volts For About 2 Hours Of Running Then Drops To 11.10 Volts If I Turn Off And Let It Cool Down It Starts To Charge Again For A Period Of Time

post the model number and the seriel number. look at the rugulators,its mounted on the pan on the port side.
tell me the color of the 4 big connectors.

sorry for not getting back sooner the no is F225TXRC AND THE OTHER NUMBERS ARE 69J X 1011840 P THE 4 CONNECTORS ARE 2 BLUE 1 BLACK AND 1 GREY

you already have the latest regulator assy.
now its time to carefully inspect the battery cables, if they are good your either loosing stator lighting coil voltage or the regulator rectifier is going south.

the regulator/rectifier is actually located behind the electrical panal, the part I was asking you to describe is the driver assy.
some models had an update that changed the driver and rectifier assy, yours already has it.
make sure the tell tale is working as the regulator/rectifier assy is water cooled by the telltale water.
