Not pumping water - solved!

Just wanted to post my good news and say to all other newbie boaters - listen to the experts! I have been posting and reading advice since my 1965 Seahorse 18hp stopped spitting water. I did everything that was suggested (changed impeller, cleared pathways etc etc) and must have taken the thing apart 5 times, but I ignored the advice to check the motor was sunk deep enough in the barrel. Obviously it was surely....? But today I tipped up the front of the boat to sink the motor another 8 inches and hey presto, brilliant water flow!!

I am a fool and I WILL follow ALL advice offered on this great site in future!

Have a great day.

Thanx for posting solution. Sometimes the obvious ain't. If I had a nickle for everything obvious I've overlooked.....:redface-new:
