I just got a 2001 Maxum 1800SR with a 4.3L Mercruiser and I believe the stock prop. I can get 48MPH at WOT at 4400RPM. Recommended upper RPM is 4400 to 4800. Very unhappy with the pulling out of skiers etc. Takes a long time to get on plane. I can live with top speed of 42MPH. But don't want to exceed the 4800 RPM at WOT. There are others that drive the boat who may not watch the RPMs carefully. Which prop would be best for this boat for this use?
