i have one more question for the iboat world.. when i throttle up my rig want to lean to the passenger side real bad until i trim my bow up then the boat levels itself...it will actually lean far enough at a high rpm to scare someone whose been on the water alot longer than i have...my last theory on this problem was because of my vents, but a few people suggested digging deeper into this problem cause the vents all sound to be in the right position meaning 1 forward and 1 reversed...so here i am again...could this be my outdrive? trim fins? or the wing/ whale tale looking thing on my outdrive? sry i dont know all the proper names.....my outdrive is a mercruiser alpha one. 185hp inline 6cylinder pushing the outdrive....

Start with the Tab above your prop. There is no "perfect setting", adjust it to your own preference. I would also do a check over the alignment of your hull. Is this a new problem on a boat you have had a while? The above link is similar to your prob.

Ayuh,... I can tell ya, it Ain't the Vents...

More likely the whale tail...
