Now the Cross pin is Jammed on Tilt Ram

Just took a week to remove seized transom Bracket for TnT pump removal and repair.Now I'm stuck with the cross pin at top of tilt ram.Punch and Hammer with heat,though still jammed.Any ideas/help greatly appreciated.88 V6 Merc.

Drill it out? Did you try penetrating oil after removing the heat? Sometimes as the part cools it will suck in the oil and loosen up.

Thanks Chris.I did try that and will try again tomorrow.If I drill it out,where would I find a replacement pin.I don't think Merc supply them anymore.

Any kind of Pin will work, I would think. I am surprized they are NLA, as my '93 Merc has the pin as well.
