NS90A parts.

I have worked on all the others. This is my first Nissan.
Need to replace the impeller and clean the carbs. Simple enough but going on line the parts lists are not all that clear.
However, I don't think I need carb repair kits at $158 a piece. Gaskets, needles and impeller would suffice I'm sure.
Can anyone provide me with part numbers please and a dealer. I'm in the Charlotte NC area. Could not find a dealer here and no one seems to know of anyone.
Thanks.

Re: NS90A parts.

I don't know where you are getting your information about this stuff, but it's wrong.

The carburetor repair kit includes gaskets, float & needle valve. One kit repairs all 3 carburetors. Fits 90A 2-stroke models. Part # 3B7871221M $144.80

In our shop, we never advocate replacing just an impeller. Yes, we do sell bare impellers to the uninitiated or cash-strapped, but in the long run, it is a short-term and expensive way to service the water pump. Reason is that the stainless cup and wear plates develop wear, increasing side clearance to the impeller, causing premature failure of the pump, resulting in a more frequent service interval. I would recommend Part # 3B7652310M Water pump repair kit. Includes all parts needed to replace water pump. $90.13, in preference to 3B7650212M IMPELLER (60/70B-C,90A) $38.62. The $50 price difference is easily chewed up in shop labor (alone) when the impeller fails in half the time -- plus, at that time, you will again need to buy a new impeller.

Any Nissan/Tohatsu dealer (including me -- I'm as close as your UPS truck:) can provide the parts for you. You can check the dealer locator at http://www.nissanmarine.com/search/index.html for your nearest dealers.

Re: NS90A parts.

Thanks pvanv. Your help and advice is quite priceless. Did not know that Steve at Marine Services, Rock hill, is the Nissan dealer.
Tried to find a dealers list but had no luck. Looking in the wrong place obviously.
You have provided a solution to my problem.
Much gratitude.
Jim.
