nube with yamaha questions

I have a 07 150H 2 stoke yamaha carb. I am going to let it sit for a month. Is there anyting I can do to prevent a hard start the next time I take it out? I have already run fuel stabilizer in the tank. The boat will be outside in the dry hot climate of Las Vegas. Also is it worth buying a $500 full cover for the motor?

No need to spend money on a cover. Put a soft cloth over the motor then a rainproof tarp. Fuel stabelizer does work. I would run motor for at least 30 minutes, then run fuel out of the carbs. This should work fine. Good luck..
